FC KATANA was founded in 2010 by a group of football enthusiasts in Kuching. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Sarawak football league system, and in 2018, they won promotion to the Sarawak Premier League.
In their debut season in the Sarawak Premier League, FC KATANA finished in third place. They have continued to improve in recent seasons, and in 2022, they finished as runners-up in the league.
Stadium
FC KATANA plays their home matches at the Sarawak Stadium in Kuching. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
