FC.GETMAN was founded in 2019 by a group of football enthusiasts. The club's name is a reference to the Getmanate of Ukraine, a historical region in Eastern Europe.
The club's first season was in the Ukrainian Amateur League. They finished the season in second place, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Ukrainian Second League.
In the 2020-21 season, FC.GETMAN won the Ukrainian Amateur League and were promoted to the Ukrainian Second League.
