Fishburn Park has a history that stretches over 60 years. It is a community based Club with all its of its players residing in Whitby or the outlying Villages.

Many of its players have progressed to higher levels including the Barclays Premiership, which is a testimant to the clubs policy of ensuring that all mangers and coaches from all age groups are FA qualified coaches.

We also have a very strong Management Committee who oversee the whole club and manage its finances and ensures that its members abide by the behavioural and child protection policies. All persons connected with the playing side of the Club are subjected to annual CRB checks.

The club achieved FA Chartered standard as a development club in 2004 and has retained the status every two years since.

There is a strong local following for the Club and we have our very own supporters club. However, maintaining 8-10 teams per year costs an awful lot in time and money, the club is always looking for volunteers to serve on its committee or take an active role in fundraising or coaching/management. History

The club was founded in 1962 and has a long history of playing in local leagues. They have won the Scarborough District Saturday League title on three occasions, most recently in 2019.

The club has also produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play at higher levels, including former Middlesbrough and England international David Wheater.

Current Season

Fishburn Park are currently in their second season in the Scarborough District Saturday League Division One. They have made a mixed start to the season, winning two of their first five games.

Their next game is away to Great Ayton United on August 30th.
