The following season, Foreigners FC won the Malaysia FAM League and were promoted to the Malaysia Premier League. The club's first season in the Malaysia Premier League was a successful one, as they finished in fourth place.
The club's current season is their second season in the Malaysia Premier League. The club are currently in fifth place, with a chance of qualifying for the Malaysia Super League, the top tier of Malaysian football.
