Friends Medina is a football (soccer) team based in Madina, Saudi Arabia. The team was founded in 2005 and currently competes in the Saudi Second Division.
History
Friends Medina was founded in 2005 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team in Madina. The team started out playing in the local amateur leagues and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2015, the team won promotion to the Saudi Second Division.
Friends Medina has been a consistent performer in the Saudi Second Division since promotion. The team has finished in the top half of the table in each of the past five seasons. In 2022, the team reached the semi-finals of the Saudi Second Division playoffs, but lost to Al-Faisaly.
