GNG SUNDAY was founded in 1969 by a group of young Asian men who were playing football in Spinney Park, Leicester. The club was originally known as Guru Nanak Gurdwara Football Club, but they changed their name to GNG SUNDAY in the early 2000s.
GNG SUNDAY has a long history of success in the Leicester & Charnwood Sunday Football League. They have won the league championship 10 times, and they have also won the FA Sunday Cup twice.
