The club was founded in 1997 for the Year 9 st Wilfird's Tournament as Clark's Classy Classmates, with a team featuring Simons Connor and Lloyd. CCCFC won this tournament despite the trickery of Darius Barami.

The club had perhaps the greatest moment of it's history in July 2006 when it won the Holbrook club 5 a side tournament. Sam was a notable absentee during the club's charge to glory.

A new green kit facilitated a change of name in 2012, shortly after which the club won a memorial tournament in Hastings, in somewhat embarrassing circumstances.

Recent season

Greensleeves finished the 2022-23 season in 10th place in the Pitch Invasion Monday Premiership. The team's top scorer was Josh McEwan with 12 goals.

The club's most impressive performance of the season came in a 3-2 victory over defending champions The A-Team. Greensleeves also drew 2-2 with league leaders The Chavs.
