History

Greentowers Youth Football Club was founded in 1998 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football. The club started with just one team, but has grown steadily over the years and now has teams from Under-7s to Under-18s.

The club has a strong reputation for developing young players and many of its former players have gone on to play professional football.

Leicester & District Sunday Juniors League

The Leicester & District Sunday Juniors League is a football league for teams in the Leicester area. The league was founded in 1968 and currently has over 300 teams competing in it.

The league is divided into a number of divisions, depending on the age of the players. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the Division One, Division Two, and so on.

The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division twice, once at home and once away.
