Hersham Royals Football Club is a Sunday League football team based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England. The team was founded in 1978 and currently plays in the Leatherhead and District Sunday Football League.

History

Hersham Royals were founded in 1978 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the Elmbridge and District Sunday League and quickly progressed through the leagues. In 1995, the team joined the Leatherhead and District Sunday Football League, where they have remained ever since.

Hersham Royals have won the Leatherhead and District Sunday Football League title on four occasions, in 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2015. The team have also won the league cup on three occasions, in 2004, 2008, and 2016.
