The team was founded in 2017. They played in the North West Women's Football League Division Two in their first season, and were promoted to Division One at the end of the season.
The team finished third in Division One in the 2018-19 season. They reached the final of the Greater Manchester Women's Football League Cup in the 2019-20 season, but lost to West Didsbury & Chorlton.
