Ikutha Hospital Fc was founded in 2010 by a group of medical professionals who wanted to promote football in the Ikutha area. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the local leagues and in 2018, they were promoted to the Kisii County League.
The team has been a regular contender for promotion to the National Super League, but they have not yet been able to achieve this goal. However, they are a popular team in the area and they continue to attract a large following.
