KINGSHIP FC was founded in 2005 by a group of businessmen from Port Saeed. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Egyptian football pyramid, and in 2013 they won promotion to the Egyptian Premier League.
KINGSHIP FC have made a number of notable signings in recent years, including former Egypt international Ahmed Hassan. The team has also reached the semi-finals of the Egyptian Cup on two occasions.
