KVTV was founded in 2010 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Rupa District Football League and won the championship in their first season.
KVTV has continued to be a successful team in the Rupa District Football League, winning the championship a total of five times. The team has also represented Rupa in the West Bengal State Football League on several occasions.
