The league is divided into three divisions: Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The top three teams in Division One at the end of the season are promoted to the Northern Counties East Football League. The bottom three teams in Division One and the bottom two teams in Division Two are relegated to Division Two and Division Three respectively.
