History
Mbemba FC was founded in 2012 by a group of local businessmen. The club quickly rose through the ranks of Congolese football, winning promotion to the Linafoot National Division 1 in 2016.
The club has struggled in the top division, finishing in the bottom half of the table in each of its seasons. However, the club has been praised for its youth development program, which has produced several talented players, including Chancel Mbemba, who currently plays for Olympique de Marseille in France.
Stadium
Mbemba FC plays its home games at the Stade Municipal de Mbemba, a 10,000-seat stadium. The stadium is located in the center of Mbemba and is the only stadium in the city that meets the requirements of the Linafoot National Division 1.
