Introduction
Michezo Youth Academy is a grassroots football team based in Kampala, Uganda. The team was founded in 2019 with the goal of providing young players with the opportunity to develop their skills and love of the game.
The team currently has 11 players, all of whom are between the ages of 12 and 16. The team plays in the Kampala Junior Football Association (KAJUFA) league.
The team is coached by Hassan Ssozy, who is a UEFA B licensed coach. Ssozy has over 10 years of experience coaching youth football in Uganda.
Recent Accomplishments
- The team won the KAJUFA league title in 2022.
- The team finished as runners-up in the Uganda Junior Cup in 2022.
- The team has produced several players who have gone on to play for national youth teams.
Future Goals
The team's goal is to continue to develop its players and compete at the highest level possible. The team also hopes to inspire other young people in Uganda to play football.
