Nefyn United Football Club
Nefyn United Football Club is a Welsh football club based in Nefyn, Gwynedd. They currently play in the North Wales Coast West Football League Premier Division.
History
Nefyn United was founded in 1946. They played in the Gwynedd League until 2005, when they were promoted to the Welsh Alliance League. They finished in mid-table for nine seasons, but in 2014, their manager Geraint Evans resigned to become a station officer at the local fire station. The club was unable to find a replacement in time, so they decided to move back to the Gwynedd League.
Nefyn United have won the Gwynedd League on three occasions, in 1996, 2004, and 2019. They have also won the North Wales Coast FA Trophy twice, in 2004 and 2017.
