New Moon United was founded in 1980 by a group of young people in Rundu. The club quickly rose through the ranks of Namibian football and won promotion to the Namibia Premier League in 1990.
New Moon United has been a consistent performer in the Namibia Premier League ever since. The club has won the league championship once, in 2000, and has finished as runners-up on three occasions.
Recent Season
New Moon United finished in 10th place in the Namibia Premier League in the 2022-23 season. The club has made a slow start to the 2023-24 season, currently sitting in 13th place.
