Newport Corinthians Football Club is an association football team based in the city of Newport, South Wales. They currently play in the Gwent County League Premier Division.
History
The club was founded in 1961 by two friends, Alan Merton and Hedley Morgan. They started off playing out of various pubs and clubs in the Newport and District League. Tredegar Park, Duffryn and Alfa Steel were pitches and parks used before finally settling at Coronation Park.
The club has won the Gwent County League Premier Division on three occasions, in 1986-87, 1994-95 and 2008-09. They have also won the Gwent County League Cup on four occasions, in 1979-80, 1985-86, 1993-94 and 2008-09.

The Newport Junior District football league is a league for under-18 teams in the Newport area. It was founded in 1970 and currently has 20 teams competing in it. The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division One.
