Phoenix Athletic Football Club is a grassroots football club based in Rosemount, Derry, Northern Ireland. The club was founded in 2010 and currently has 10 youth teams from U7 to U17, including a girls' team, as well as two adults teams.
The club's home ground is Rosemount Factory, and its colors are red and black.
History
Phoenix Athletic was founded in 2010 by Christy McGeehan, who wanted to create a football club for young people in the Rosemount area. The club started with just one youth team, but it has grown rapidly over the past 10 years.
In 2023, Phoenix Athletic's U17 team will compete in the National League for the first time. This is a major achievement for the club, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the coaches and players.
