PIFC Football Club was founded in 2006 by a group of football enthusiasts from Putrajaya. The club's first team competed in the Kuala Lumpur Premier League in 2007.
In 2010, PIFC Football Club was promoted to the Malaysia FAM League. The club has remained in the Malaysia FAM League ever since.
