History
The club was founded in 1945 as Polonia Swidnica. In 1947, the club merged with Stal Swidnica to form Polonia/Stal Swidnica. The club played in the II liga, the second tier of Polish football, from 1955 to 1962.
In 1962, the club was relegated to the III liga. The club played in the III liga until 1997, when it was relegated to the regional leagues.
In 2005, the club merged with Sparta Swidnica to form MKS Polonia Stal Swidnica. The club played in the IV liga until 2013, when it was promoted to the III liga.
The club currently plays in the IV liga.
