Pune Football Club (PFC) was an Indian professional football club based in Pune, Maharashtra. The club competed in the I-League, then top flight of Indian football league system.
History
PFC was founded in 2007 by the Ashok Piramal Group. The club made its debut in the I-League in the 2009-10 season.
PFC enjoyed its best ever campaign during the 2012-13 season, in which they finished as runners-up. The club also won the I-League Fair Play Award in the same season.
In May 2015, PFC was dissolved due to financial crisis. The club's academy was purchased by FC Pune City, which competes in the Indian Super League.
