History
RD FC was founded in 2013 by a group of football enthusiasts. The club's first season was in the Malaysia M4 League, the fourth tier of Malaysian football. The club finished the season in third place, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Malaysia M3 League.
In the 2014 season, RD FC won the Malaysia M4 League and were promoted to the Malaysia M3 League. The club finished the 2015 season in fifth place, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Malaysia M2 League.
In the 2016 season, RD FC finished the season in fourth place, again narrowly missing out on promotion to the Malaysia M2 League.
