Real Antioquia's home stadium is the Estadio Atanasio Girardot, which it shares with Atlético Nacional. The club's colors are red and blue.

Real Antioquia is one of the oldest football clubs in Colombia. The club has won the Categoría Primera B championship twice, in 1994 and 2007.
Real Antioquia has also won the Copa Colombia once, in 1995. The club has never won the Copa Libertadores, the top continental club competition in South America.
