History
The club was founded in March 2021 after the establishment of the Nepal Super League. The club's first match was against Dhangadhi on 25 April 2021. They finished the season in sixth place, failing to reach the second part of the tournament.
In the 2022 season, RFC Biratnagar finished in fourth place in the regular season. They reached the semifinals of the playoffs, but were defeated by Manang Marshyangdi Club.
