Shrewsbury United were founded in 2019 by a group of local football enthusiasts. They started playing in the Shrewsbury & District Sunday League Division Two, and were promoted to Division One in their first season.
The club moved to the Shropshire County League in 2021. They finished in 10th place in their first season, and are currently in 7th place in the table.
Ground
Shrewsbury United play their home games at the Ruyton XI Towns Recreation Ground. The ground has a capacity of 100 spectators.
