Sids is a football team based in Brighton and Hove, England. The team was founded in 1972 and currently competes in the Sussex County League Division One.
History
Sids was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out playing in local leagues and gradually worked their way up to the Sussex County League.
In 1998, Sids won the Sussex County League Division Two title. This was the team's first major trophy and it helped them to gain promotion to Division One.
Sids have since established themselves as a mid-table team in Division One. The team has never won the league title, but they have reached the playoffs on several occasions.
