Sporting Armley FC was formed in 2008 and had a successful first season in the Leeds Red Triangle League, finishing in 2nd place in the 2nd Division.
In our second year we moved to the Spen Valley League where we won the Division One league title and the Mark Hawkins Memorial Trophy.
In 2010/11 we moved back to the Leeds Red Triangle League 2nd Division, finishing 3rd and also reaching the final of the Leeds & District Cup.
