Stowmarket Town Wasps were formed in 2011

This is the teams second season together, playing in the Ipswich and Suffolk Youth League.The team is made up of boys from in and around the Stowmarket area. With the boys in the team attending a number of local schools including; Stowmarket Middle, Combs Middle and Great Finborough SchoolThe boys have developed into a hard working team with a great team spirit; who try to play good passing football.During the 2011-12 season the Wasps played really well, and the development and all of the player throughout the season was fantastic to watch - making the coaching team and all their parents very proud! Unfortunately we lost a couple of players at the end of last season, but have been lucky enough to sign a couple of players, which have already settled in well. The team was founded in 1998 and currently has teams from under 7s to under 18s. They are affiliated to Stowmarket Town Football Club, who play in the Isthmian League North Division.

The Wasps are a well-respected team in the Ipswich & Suffolk Youth Football League. They have won the league title on several occasions and have also competed in the FA Youth Cup.
