We are a new amateur football team starting our first campaign in 2013/14 season in Barnsley & District FA Sunday League.
Our main sponsor is The Sturdy Lads pub in Monk Bretton and we play our home games at Athersley.

History
The club was founded in 2013 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. They started out in the Barnsley & District Saturday League, but moved to the Sunday League in 2014.
The club has been relatively successful in recent years, winning the Barnsley & District Sunday League Cup in 2018. They have also reached the final of the league championship on several occasions.
Current Season
The club is currently in the 2022/23 season. They are currently in second place in the league, and are looking to challenge for the title.
The team is managed by Chris Smith, and the captain is James Taylor.
