SUFC Tamar is a football club based in Tamar, Devon. The club was founded in 1920 and currently plays in the Devon County League Premier Division. SUFC Tamar has a long and successful history, having won the Devon County League on 10 occasions. The club also has a thriving youth section, with teams at all age groups.

History

SUFC Tamar was founded in 1920 by a group of local footballers. The club's first home ground was at the Recreation Ground in Tamar. In 1922, SUFC Tamar moved to its current home ground, The Meadows.

SUFC Tamar has enjoyed a great deal of success over the years. The club has won the Devon County League on 10 occasions, most recently in 2019. SUFC Tamar has also won the Devon Senior Cup on 5 occasions.

In recent years, SUFC Tamar has also developed a strong youth section. The club has teams at all age groups, from under-7s to under-18s. SUFC Tamar's youth teams have won numerous trophies, including the Devon County Youth Cup.

EVFC Juniors Summer Tournament 2023

SUFC Tamar will be hosting the EVFC Juniors Summer Tournament 2023 on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July. The tournament is open to teams from all over Devon and Cornwall. There will be trophies for the winners and runners-up in each age group.
