Teesside University Mens Football Team
The Teesside University Mens Football Team is a football (soccer) team that represents Teesside University in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) league.
The team was founded in 1995 and has competed in the BUCS league ever since. They have won the Northern Conference twice, in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
The team is currently managed by Chris Fairless and plays its home games at the Teesside University Sports Centre.
2014-15 Season
The 2014-15 season was the most successful season in the team's history. They won the Northern Conference, finishing two points ahead of second-placed Newcastle University.
The team also reached the semi-finals of the BUCS National Cup, where they were beaten by the University of Bath.
The team's top scorer in the 2014-15 season was Luke Nixon, who scored 18 goals in 20 appearances.
The team's most impressive performance of the season came in a 5-0 win over the University of York.
