The club was founded in 1975 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together on Sundays. They started out playing in local friendlies, but eventually joined the Belmonte Thant Sunday Football League.

The club has had a mixed history over the years, but they have always been competitive. They have won the league title twice, in 1990 and 2005.
