Tickton Hurricanes AFC was founded in 1999 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club for the local community. The club's first team played in the East Riding Sunday League Division Two.
The club quickly progressed through the leagues and, in 2004, they were promoted to the East Riding Sunday League Premier Division.
The club has also had success in cup competitions, winning the East Riding Sunday League Cup in 2005 and 2010.
