Trimley Red Devils F.C. was founded in 1980 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The club initially played in the Trimley & District Sunday League, before joining the Suffolk & Ipswich League in 1982.
The club has won the Suffolk & Ipswich League on three occasions, in 2004, 2010, and 2019. They have also reached the final of the Suffolk Senior Cup on three occasions, in 2005, 2011, and 2019.
