We are one of the Tyneside Pumas under 10's teams based in Hebburn, and one of the 6 teams that make up the Tyneside Pumas Club.

Formed as the Under 8 team in 2010 for the summer league, we now play as Under 10's in the Chase Holmes League at Monkton Stadium.

Tyneside Pumas Football Club was formed in 2008 to give children the opprtunity to play football in a safe and supporting environment, and continues to promote this today. Giving all children the chance to enjoy playing football regardless of apptitude.

History

The team was formed in 2010 as the Under 8 team for the summer league. They moved up to the Under 10's division in 2012 and have been playing in the Chase Holmes League ever since.

The team has had a lot of success in recent years, winning the Chase Holmes League Under 10's Division 1 title in 2021 and 2022. They have also reached the final of the Chase Holmes League Cup on two occasions.

Players

The team is made up of 17 players, including Alex Johnson, Jay Wright, Patrick X, Mark Goodfellow, Donna Turnbull, Shane Wright, and Kalem Russell.

Alex Johnson is the team captain. He is a creative midfielder who is good at passing and dribbling.
Jay Wright is a striker who is strong and good at finishing.
Patrick X is a defender who is good at tackling and heading.
Mark Goodfellow is the team secretary. He is responsible for organizing the team's fixtures and arranging transport.
Donna Turnbull is the team assistant. She helps with training and provides support to the players.
Shane Wright is a midfielder who is good at passing and tackling.
Kalem Russell is a goalkeeper who is good at shot-stopping and commanding his area.
