History
ULC FC was founded in 2007 by a group of businessmen from Guangzhou. The club started in the third tier of Chinese football and quickly rose through the divisions. In 2016, the club won promotion to the China League One.
ULC FC has struggled in the China League One, finishing in the bottom half of the table in each of its seasons in the division. However, the club is hoping to challenge for promotion to the Chinese Super League in the near future.
