VinnonsRus was founded in 2010 by a group of Russian expatriates living in Istanbul. The team's name is a combination of the words "Vinograd" (vineyard) and "Rus" (Russia).
The team's first season was in the Turkish Amateur League. They won the league and were promoted to the Turkish Second League in 2011.
VinnonsRus spent two seasons in the Turkish Second League before being relegated to the Turkish Third League in 2013.
The team has been competing in the Turkish Third League since 2013. They finished in 12th place in the 2022-2023 season.
