Vitória Futebol Clube (also known as Vitória Setúbal) is a Portuguese sports club from the city of Setúbal. Popularly known as Vitória de Setúbal (pronounced [vi't??i? ð? s?'tußal]), the club was born under the original name Sport Victoria from the ashes of the small Bonfim Foot-Ball Club.
History
Vitória de Setúbal was founded on 19 January 1910. The club's home ground is the Estádio do Bonfim, which has a capacity of 18,694.
- Vitória de Setúbal has won six trophies: three Taça de Portugal and one Taça da Liga.
- Internationally, Vitória have won a Small Club World Cup and an Iberian Cup.
- The club's most successful period was between 1964 and 1974, when they won the Taça de Portugal three times and finished second in the Primeira Liga in 1972.
