History
Wamil Wasps were founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club initially played in the Mildenhall & District Sunday League, but moved to the Bury & District Sunday Football League in 1977.
The club has won the Bury & District Sunday Football League title on three occasions, in 1985, 1995, and 2019. They have also won the Bury & District Sunday Football League Cup on two occasions, in 1986 and 2019.
Current Season
Wamil Wasps are currently competing in Division One of the Bury & District Sunday Football League. They are currently in fourth place in the table, with five wins and two losses from their seven games.
