West Bridgford Knights FC

West Bridgford Knights FC is a football team based in Tel Aviv, Israel. They were founded in 2005 by a group of British expats who wanted to create a team that would play in the Israeli football pyramid.

The team currently competes in Liga Bet, the third tier of Israeli football. They have never won a major trophy, but they have finished as runners-up in the Liga Bet North A division on two occasions (2014-15 and 2016-17).

History

West Bridgford Knights FC was founded in 2005 by a group of British expats who wanted to create a team that would play in the Israeli football pyramid. The team's first game was against Hapoel Tel Aviv in the 2005-06 season of the Liga Gimel North division. They finished the season in 9th place.

The team won promotion to Liga Bet in the 2008-09 season. They have since competed in Liga Bet for the past 14 seasons. Their best finish in Liga Bet was in the 2014-15 season, when they finished as runners-up in the Liga Bet North A division.
