Westerhope United U23's are a football team based in Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. They are affiliated to the North East Combination Football League and play in the U23 Division.
History
The club was formed in April 2020, during the COVID pandemic. The first few months were a struggle as it was difficult to put teams together in lockdown, but they managed to create 5 teams, during their first year as a club. At the end of 2020 they also merged with Lemington Lions, which moved them up to 7 teams and they created an U23 team and Senior Team. In 2022 they have continued to grow, they now have 20+ teams from U6 to senior level.
The club's home ground is Westerhope Recreation Ground.
