Winter Soldier were founded in 2015 by a group of friends who were passionate about football. They started out playing in local tournaments and gradually worked their way up the leagues. In 2022, they won promotion to the Liga 3.
The team's home ground is the Andi Mattalatta Stadium in Makassar. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
