History
Wormley Rovers Youth FC was founded in 1975 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football. The club started with just one team, but has grown steadily over the years and now has teams for boys and girls of all ages.
The club has a proud history of producing talented players. One of the most notable players to come through the Wormley Rovers youth system is David Bentley, who went on to play for Blackburn Rovers, Tottenham Hotspur, and Birmingham City.
Accomplishments
- Wormley Rovers Youth FC has won numerous trophies at both local and county level.
- The club has also produced a number of players who have gone on to play professional football.
- In 2021, Wormley Rovers Youth FC raised funds in support of the East Herts Special Olympic Team.
