The team was formed in 2006 by a group of friends who were all over the age of 35 and still wanted to play competitive football. They have since gone on to win the Mainland Premier League Masters 35+ competition on three occasions, in 2009, 2011, and 2013.
The team's home ground is Ferrymead Park in Ferrymead, Christchurch. They also play some of their home games at Barnett Park in Redcliffs, Christchurch.
