Miami SA was founded in 2016 by Riccardo Silva, the owner of Silva International Investments. The team's home stadium is Riccardo Silva Stadium at FIU, located on the campus of Florida International University.
History
Miami SA played its first season in the NPSL in 2016. The team finished the season with a record of 10-4-2, good enough for second place in the Sunshine Conference. Miami SA lost to New York Cosmos B in the conference semifinals.
In 2017, Miami SA won the Sunshine Conference and advanced to the NPSL National Championship. The team lost to FC Arizona in the semifinals.
In 2018, Miami SA won the NPSL National Championship, defeating New York Cosmos B 3-1 in the final.
