History
Peamount United was founded in 1983 by a group of women who wanted to play competitive football. The club started out in the Dublin Women's Soccer League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2010, Peamount United won the FAI Women's Cup for the first time. They have since won the cup a further six times, most recently in 2022.
Peamount United have also been successful in the Women's National League. They have won the league title four times, most recently in 2021. The club has also reached the UEFA Women's Champions League on three occasions.
