About Region 56
Region 56 is an American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) region located in South Huntington Beach, California. It was founded in 1975 and currently serves over 1,200 players of all ages.
Region 56 offers a variety of soccer programs for players of all skill levels, including recreational, competitive, and all-star programs. The region also offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for parents and community members.
Region 56 is committed to providing a fun and positive environment for all players. The region's philosophy is based on the AYSO Five Pillars:

Recent Accomplishments
Region 56 teams have won numerous championships in recent years. In 2022, the Region 56 U12B Extra team won the Coastal Classic Tournament in San Diego. The Region 56 U13 Girls Extra team also won the Battle of the Beach tournament in 2022.
Region 56 players have also been selected to play on the AYSO National Team. In 2022, two Region 56 players were selected to play on the AYSO National U12 Team.
Upcoming Events
Region 56 is currently accepting registrations for the fall 2023 season. Registration is open until September 10, 2023.
Region 56 will also be hosting a number of events in the coming months, including:
- Fall Soccer Fest (October 1, 2023)
- Winter Soccer Fest (December 1, 2023)
- Spring Soccer Fest (March 1, 2024)
