West United FC is a football club based in Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1983 and currently competes in the Leinster Senior League.
History
West United FC was founded in 1983 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club in the west of Dublin. The club started out in the Dublin District Schoolboys League and gradually moved up the leagues until they reached the Leinster Senior League in 2005.
The club has had some success in recent years, winning the Leinster Senior League Cup in 2015 and 2019. They have also reached the final of the FAI Intermediate Cup on two occasions, in 2016 and 2018.
